Data Protection

Personal information provided on this portal will be used by the Commission. For the purposes of The Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2001, the Commission is considered to be a data controller.

Prior to submission, all data is considered by the Commission to be draft and potentially inaccurate. Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they input is accurate and that they do not breach the Data Protection Law by disclosing personal information using the form delegation process. Once submitted, the Commission will use the information submitted to satisfy its statutory duty under the regulatory Laws. Information submitted may in some cases be disclosed to third parties for those purposes.
